Transferring to BSU

Each year, BSU admits more and more transfer students to our growing undergraduate student population. Why do transfer students choose Bridgewater? We are very transfer-friendly and serve as a model transfer institution for public colleges and universities in the state. Our Transfer Services office helps students in the transfer process by providing a number of resources through its Transfer Central web site.

Bridgewater will accept up to 69 credits from a two-year institution and up to 90 credits from a four-year institution whether those credits were earned six months ago or 30 years ago. If you have earned at least 12 credits at an accredited institution, you are considered a transfer student. Many of our BSU evening students have transferred credits into their degree programs.

Transfer Services office provides many resources to prospective and newly transferred students. Visit Transfer Central to access transfer resources, including the B.E.A.R.S. credit evaluation database that allows students to see how credits earned at another institution will transfer into BSU programs and the Transfer 101 link that helps guide students through the transfer process.
