Transferring to BSU

Transfer students are the heart of Continuing Studies. We love that you have earned credits at other institutions and are considering BSU as the place to complete your degree. Why do transfer students choose Bridgewater? We are a credit transfer-friendly university and serve as a model transfer institution for public colleges and universities in Massachusetts.

Bridgewater will accept:
Up to 69 credits from a two-year institution
Up to 90 credits from a four-year institution

Old credits never die
Whether you earned your credits three months ago or more than 30 years ago, we will accept your credits.

TESS (Transfer Equivalency Self-Service tool) is a database tool that helps you explore how credits earned at other institutions will transfer into Bridgewater degree programs. Users answer a series of questions about credits earned to generate a report which may be used as a guide to understand how credits will transfer to Bridgewater. (Disclaimer Alert: Please note TESS is not official and should only be used as a guide to help you understand how your classes may transfer and apply to degree requirements. Visit Tess
